​Kate Laine Events was founded by Holden Laine & Gracie Kate, with a shared passion for crafting unforgettable moments. We want you to get to know us, as well as us getting to know you and your story. So, here’s a little background on our friendship. We met at Oklahoma State University through our significant others, who are close friends, and we instantly clicked- so did our dogs, who are also best friends! At Kate Laine Events, we would love to create a genuine connection with you and ensure that every aspect of your event exceeds your expectations and is a true reflection of who you are. Holden Laine and Gracie Kate are driven by their passion for crafting unforgettable moments and their love for planning days that hold a deep meaning to others. We strongly believe that every couple deserves a wedding that reflects their unique love story. We’re here to make the planning process feel effortless and enjoyable. Gracie Kate
Owner & Lead Planner
Raised among entrepreneurs, Gracie Kate learned early that meaningful work is rooted in purpose, dedication, and beauty. Drawn naturally to design, planning, and organization, she discovered a sense of calm in shaping ideas into thoughtful, intentional experiences.

After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and minors in Entrepreneurship and Event Management, Gracie followed her calling, brining Kate Laine Events to life with Holden. With an intuitive eye for design and thoughtful attention to detail, Gracie creates seamless, elevated events that tell each couple’s story. Her calm presence and hands-on guidance ensure clients feel supported and confident from start to finish.

Gracie lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Grant, her high school sweetheart and biggest supporter. They love going on walks with their dogs Blaze and Boyd. Some of their favorite memories are made sitting on a patio with a glass of wine, an evening cooking at home together, and traveling to new places. Just as she treasures creating memories in her own life, Gracie is passionate about helping others create memories with intention and grace.
Holden Laine
Owner & Lead Planner
Born and raised in Georgia, Holden grew up immersed in Southern tradition and an appreciation for gracious hospitality. Many of her earliest memories are of attending weddings with her grandmother, where she learned to notice the thoughtful details, the rhythm of the day, and the care that goes into creating a celebration that feels effortless. Those experiences gave her a deep understanding of weddings long before they became her profession.

After earning a degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University, with minors in Marketing and Energy Finance, Holden discovered her passion for event planning at the intersection of organization and creativity. She approaches each event with a calm, detail driven mindset, thoughtfully crafting celebrations that feel polished, personal, and seamlessly executed.

Known for her attentive presence and strong relationships with her clients, Holden guides each couple through the planning process with care and intention. Outside of her work, she finds joy in family life with her husband, Koda, exploring Tulsa with their dogs, Harry and Lottie, and collecting meaningful pieces through travel that reflect the heart behind her work.
