Kate Laine Events was founded by Gracie Kate and Holden Laine, brought together by a shared passion for creating meaningful, unforgettable celebrations. We met at Oklahoma State University through our husbands and instantly clicked, and so did our dogs, who quickly became best friends too. Oklahoma is home to all of us, and our friendship has grown right alongside Kate Laine Events.
We believe the planning experience should feel personal from the very beginning. We want to get to know you, your story, your style, and what matters most to you, while also giving you the chance to get to know us. We work with a select number of clients, both locally and worldwide, through a seamless planning and design process centered around genuine connection, thoughtful details, and a celebration that feels entirely your own. Our goal is to ensure every element comes together beautifully and exceeds your expectations, so you can be fully present and soak up every little moment. We strongly believe every couple deserves a wedding that is a true reflection of their unique love story. After all, this day only happens once.

Raised among entrepreneurs, Gracie Kate learned early that meaningful work is rooted in purpose, dedication, and beauty. Drawn naturally to design, planning, and organization, she discovered a sense of calm in shaping ideas into thoughtful, intentional experiences.After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and minors in Entrepreneurship and Event Management, Gracie followed her calling, brining Kate Laine Events to life with Holden. With an intuitive eye for design and thoughtful attention to detail, Gracie creates seamless, elevated events that tell each couple’s story. Her calm presence and hands-on guidance ensure clients feel supported and confident from start to finish.Gracie lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Grant, her high school sweetheart and biggest supporter. They love going on walks with their dogs Blaze and Boyd. Some of their favorite memories are made sitting on a patio with a glass of wine, an evening cooking at home together, and traveling to new places. Just as she treasures creating memories in her own life, Gracie is passionate about helping others create memories with intention and grace.
Holden Laine
Owner | Lead Planner | Designer
Born and raised in Georgia, Holden grew up immersed in Southern tradition and an appreciation for gracious hospitality. Many of her earliest memories are of attending weddings with her grandmother, where she learned to notice the thoughtful details, the rhythm of the day, and the care that goes into creating a celebration that feels effortless. Those experiences gave her a deep understanding of weddings long before they became her profession. After earning a degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University, with minors in Maketing and Energy Finance, Holden discovered her passion for event planning at the intersection of organization and creativity. She approaches each event with a calm, detail driven mindset, thoughtfully crafting celebrations that feel polished, personal, and seamlessly executed.Known for her attentive presence and strong relationships with her clients, Holden guides each couple through the planning process with care and intention. Outside of her work, she finds joy in family life with her husband, Koda, exploring Tulsa with their dogs, Harry and Lottie, and collecting meaningful pieces through travel that reflect the heart behind her work.

This service is ideal for couples who are comfortable making many of their own planning decisions, but want expert direction when it comes to design, vendor selection, logistics, and the final execution of the wedding day. With our guidance, you will select and book from our trusted vendor recommendations while we help ensure every detail feels cohesive, intentional, and thoughtfully considered.

Depending on the package you choose, you may want to add on additional services to have just the right amount of planning support you need throughout your journey.
INVITATION & RSVP MANAGEMENT
We will assemble and package your invitations to mail our to your favorite people, as you relax and await that special delivery. We also offer RSVP management for those doing mail in replys, so that you have one less to-do on your list. Instead of putting your home address on the RSVP envelope, send them directly to us and we will keep track of your guest count and meal selection.

Depending on the complexity of your event, additional assistants may be added to your services at your request or the discretion of your planner. This will be communicated to you immediately as the need arises and added to your final invoice.

If you want your rehearsal dinner to feel like an extension of your wedding day celebration, we can help. We would love to plan and design this aspect of your event. It is such a special part of your wedding because it’s where you can spend quality time celebrating with your nearest and dearest. Let us help you make it even more memorable

HOTEL BLOCK MANAGEMENT
Don’t feel like finding, managing, and negotiating hotel rates for all of your guests? We understand. That’s why we offer hotel block management. We will do the research on hotel options at various price points that will be convenient and comfortable for your guests. Then we’ll negotiate to make sure you and your guests get the best rates.

WHEN SHOULD I HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?
We’d love to start working with you at any point in the process. However, our hope is to start at the very beginning with our couples. This allows us to suggest the right venue and vendors based on your desired wedding aesthetic, needs, wants, and must-haves. That being said, we’re happy to assist you whenever you need support in your wedding planning journey.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT STRUCTURE FOR YOUR PACKAGES?
A retainer is due upon signing the contract to secure your date. Depending on the package you choose, the remaining balance will be split up throughout the planning process with the final balance due a month before the wedding day.
HOW MUCH ACCESS DO I GET TO YOU AS MY PLANNER?
Our goal is to be there for you throughout the entire process. You are able to schedule meetings and phone calls as needed, although we will be regularly checking in to ensure that everything is going smoothly, and no issues arise. In order to provide you with the best level of service, we have guidelines in place to streamline the communication process. This is to ensure whenever you reach out we can respond with our full attention and make note of any important details mentioned during our conversation.
CAN I HIRE YOU IF I'VE ALREADY HIRED SOME OF MY VENDORS?
DOf course! We’re happy to pick up where you left off and coordinate with any of your current vendors to ensure no detail is unaccounted for as your wedding vision comes to life. We also have a list of preferred vendors. So if there are vendors you’re still looking to contract, we’re happy to curate a list of potential options that match your vision.
IF THERE ARE ADDITIONAL TASKS THAT I NEED ASSISTANCE WITH, CAN I ADD THOSE TO MY PACKAGE?
If there are additional services you need help with that aren't outlined in your desired package, wed be happy to add them in and create a custom package for you. Feel free to browse any of our add -ons to view the additional services that we provide.
WHAT PLANNING PLATFORM DO YOU USE?
We use Aisle Planner, an all-in-one planning platform that keeps your wedding details organized in one convenient place. You can access your personalized planning portal through our website under “Client Login.”
WHAT LEVEL OF SUPPORT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
The best way to determine what level of support is right for you is by reaching out to us to schedule a consultation. Once we learn more about your vision, how involved you desire to be in the planning process, and more about the logistics of your event we can suggest the best option for you. We’d also be happy to customize a package based on your event needs.
